i was home this weekend and was watching the news when the weather came on. as you know, we recently had a big noreaster this weekend. i found it almost comical what a huge deal the news stations were making over a winter storm. then i realized that i had seen this before. every time there is a storm, if you watch the news, they almost try to make you believe its the end of the world. that we’re going to be buried under feet of snow for months on end. they ALWAYS show stores selling out of food and shovles and things like that. then the storm comes, we take a day to clean up, and things are back to normal till the next 4 inches of snow come and the process starts all over again.
